Let Them Be Little [Week 112]

Today’s post is part of Let Them Be Little, a collaborative project with a group of wonderfully talented photographers to capture the daily lives of our children. I am also proud to say that this image is from my first roll of film shot in over 10 years. I dug up my old Nikon N6006 and am currently taking Joyce Kang’s Embrace the Grain film workshop. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I am enjoying shooting with film, I only have a 50 mm lens at the moment which is exactly what I had when I first started getting serious about photography in 2011. The boys (and I) keep looking at the back of the camera after every shot out of habit! Shooting with film has slowed me down and is making me more deliberate about my photography. I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.

Please visit our group site to see photos of what our little ones have been up to this week.
