Photo 52 : Within the Frame / Perspective – Inclusion

It is a new year, a new month, and a new topic on Who We Become. For the next two months we will be spotlighting perspective, starting this month with four weeks examining the way lens choice can alter your viewpoint.

Wide angle lenses allow our camera to see wider than the eye can, and therefore allow us to include a great deal of environment along with our subject.  I often like shooting wide to include the environment in my frame, and as a result my 24 mm lens is on my camera about 90% of the time.

While it has been freezing in the Northeast, the upside is that the lake has frozen early this year.  How amazing it is to be able to walk and skate on it!
