Photo 52: A Play on Light / Creative [4]

Some glow stick fun from the beginning of the summer!  We bought them before the summer really got started and the boys wanted to open up a pack right before bedtime one night – just to make sure they worked, of course!

We discovered that it was fun to move and shake the sticks with the camera set at a slow shutter speed…

Which led to this…

and this…

and then this happened!

Sadly once they started bringing the glow sticks outside, I have not been able to corral them long enough to take any more photos!

Today’s post is part of Project Light, a year-long exploration of light.  For our last month of this year, our topic is simply “creative.”  Please continue along the  circle to see the creative captures by my fellow photog friends.  Next up is my friend and fellow New Yorker, Linda Hooper, known for her masterful use of light and dreamy out-of-focus shots.
