Photo 52: A Play on Light / Time of Day [Afternoon]

I took advantage of a sale and got a new lens this week.  The Lensbaby Spark is a fun little lens that opens up many creative possibilities because of its selective focus and bokeh effects.  It takes a bit of getting used to as you have to focus manually but I was so excited to try it out, especially since the first signs of spring finally emerged in New York this week!

This month in Project Light we are exploring light at different times of day.  Thankfully this week we focused on daylight, which I found much easier than last week’s morning light.  Please continue around the circle to see what my friend, fellow New Yorker, and mother of two adorable girls (not to mention wife of a former classmate of mine!)  Jessie Wixon, was up to during the day light hours last week!
